The unit uses a chitosan-polypyrrole hydrogel that absorbs raw water and is heated by sunlight through an inclined glass panel. This drives evaporation, which condenses as clean water — all moved by gravity, with no pump required.
Yes. A small solar-charged LED extends evaporation into the night, so the system keeps producing water after sunset.
